Our agency is on a mission to help meet the growing demand for food services in our community due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis. By supporting the remarkable work being done by the Manna Food Center, we are committed to raising awareness and funds for this very worthy cause. During this COVID-19 pandemic, the Manna Food Center is taking proactive steps to safely provide food and other resources for local families who rely on them.
To account for social distancing needs and a surge in food requests related to COVID-19, they have modified and scaled their services, offering food in different formats and locations. Because of the economic disaster, they have waived income requirements for their services. All Montgomery County residents are eligible for their services. While they are grateful for the support of public funding, Manna is an independent not-for-profit organization where all are welcome. They are also proud to be a leading voice for Food for All in our community, and they are partnering with the Manna Food Bank to make sure everyone has the food resources they need.
So, we’re now advocating and directing monetary rewards to this very cause. When you recommend someone to us for a quote, we offer to donate $10 on your behalf. And yes, that is for EACH friend you send us. How many do you have? Do the math!
