Hunger is a complex issue that has, sadly, become prevalent in today's society. In Montgomery County alone, 1 in 12 persons is considered food insecure. This means that they often go without enough healthy food to get them through the week. We at Payne Insurance Associates see this as a critical problem, so we're launching a Community Cause Campaign to bring attention to the issue and do what we can to help those struggling with hunger.

Thankfully, Gaithersburg HELP is on a mission to help residents with their basic needs. Our agency’s shared vision of providing some much-needed relief to our hungry neighbors has inspired us to support Gaithersburg HELP in achieving its bold mission. Gaithersburg HELP is an organization that functions as a vital neighbor-helping-neighbor link in a countywide network of providers. Gaithersburg HELP strives to assist clients with food, transportation, prescription medications, and other vital basic needs.

Here at Payne Insurance Advisors, our goal is to create a sustainable solution to eliminate hunger and improve health outcomes for at-risk populations. In our mission to irradicate these issues, we want to support and raise awareness for local organizations that work tirelessly to create positive change. We are proud to continue to support the Manna Food Center's efforts to serve food-insecure families in our community.

For almost 40 years, the Manna Food Bank has brought hope to our community, ensuring that all those in need have access to safe, sufficient, and nutritious foods. The goal is to create a sustainable solution to eliminate hunger improve health outcomes for at-risk populations.

What started as a food distribution service in a vacant elementary school in 1983 has become a well-established food bank and a beacon of hope for thousands of food-insecure families and individuals in our community. Our agency has seen the Manna Food Center’s amazing work firsthand and wants to continue advocating and raising awareness for its life-changing mission.

As advocates of health and wellness, we know the importance food and nutrition have on the happiness and success of our community and want to do our part to increase its access within our local area. Food is a basic need, and in Montgomery County alone, an estimated 1 out of 12 people are facing food insecurity. We want to continue raising awareness and ensuring that our community's nutritional gap is filled.

In communities across Maryland, access to food and essential resources continues to be an obstacle for individuals and families to overcome.
